Granny Anna
The realization of Cà Zanengius' project is dedicated entirely to Anna: a woman of humble peasant origins who dedicated her entire life to the well-being of her family and the care of her precious home and beloved plants and flowers. To keep her memory alive, her daughter Clara and her nephew Paolo have decided to offer future guests the opportunity to experience firsthand the well-being that simplicity can offer. We are confident that Grandma would be proud to know that so many others have been able to appreciate the comfort of her little house, the warmth of family hospitality, and the beauty of her garden.

Anna's Ring
This little ring became part of the history of Cà Zanengius in 1942, during World War II, when little Anna was just seven years old.
Ornavasso was an area of intense activity for both partisan and Nazi-Fascist forces, and the mountains served the main purpose of shelter for the partisans unities and the party opposition.
An unusual painting
The story of this painting can be described as both sad and bizarre at the same time.
This painting depicts Antonio (Anna's grandfather), and the question that arises spontaneously to anyone who sees it is: "How was it possible for a simple peasant to be portrayed as a nobleman".
The following story is the lengthy answer: It is very difficult to define an exact year, but it is presumed to be around 1890.

"Museum" Room
Carpenter, farmer, hunter, and cobbler are just a few of the professions that have characterized the lives of the previous inhabitants of Cà Zanengius. With great dedication and care, we have decided to honor our family's history by enclosing all the typical tools of these ancient professions within a room in the house called the "museum room"; the beating heart of Cà Zanengius.
